The Flat Rock campground is located along US Hwy 20, 1/4 mile south of Macks Inn, on the east side of the highway. The Henry's Fork of the Snake River runs along the north side of the campground. Elevation of the campground is 6400'.
The upper loop (loop 'B') has some campsites with electrical hook-ups and are reserevable. The lower loop (loop'A') campsites are "First Come - First Serve".

The Big Springs campground is located off of US Hwy 20, about 4 miles east of Macks Inn and sits at an elevation of 6400'. The scenic Big Springs and the historic Johnny Sack Cabin are located adjacent to the campground. Canoe and Raft rental is available at Macks Inn for a leisurely float down the crystal clear Big Springs river. Video of Macks Inn Float Trip
Big Springs is the headwaters of Henry's Fork and is one of the largest springs in the country.

The Upper Coffee Pot campground sits along the Henry's Fork of the Snake River at an elevation of 6400'. Turn west off of US Hwy 20 about 3/4 mile south of Macks Inn. Follow the Forest Service road (FS 130) and the signs to campground entrance.
This is an extremely popular campground offering great river access and views. A variety of wildlife frequent the area.
Eight of the campsites have electrical hook-ups and all campsites here are reservable.

The McCrea Bridge campground is located along the extreme upper end of the Island Park Reservoir at an elevation of 6300'. From US Hwy 20 go 2 miles west on the Yale/Kilgore Rd, then just before the bridge turn south into the campground entrance.
A good view of the Sawtell Peak may be seen from the campground.

The Big Springs Warming Hut is available for reservation during the summer months. It features an enclosed building with lights and electrical recepticles as well as a wood burning stove for cool weather (firewood may be purchased from the Big Springs campground host). In addition to tables located inside the building, there are also picnic tables and fire rings outside. Restrooms and large parking area make it ideal for groups wanting an all weather facility.
NOTE: There is NO water available at this location so be sure to bring an ample supply.

The Buttermilk campground is located adjacent to Island Park Reservoir at an elevation of 6300'. From US Hwy 20 go 2 miles west on the Yale/Kilgore Rd. then about 2 1/2 miles south on the Buttermilk Loop Rd.
A boat ramp and large parking area is located between the main campground and the group camping area.
The Group Area and several of the Individual Campsites may be reserved.

The Buffalo campground is just off of US Hwy 20. The entrance just north of Pond Lodge on the east side of the highway. The campground is located adjacent to the Buffalo River and sits at an elevation of 6300'.
AThere is an amphitheater at which "Smokey the Bear" is often present at the evening interpretive program held on holiday weekends as well as other selected weekends. Check our "EVENTS" webpage for specific dates & times
